Film director Todd Phillips has officially removed the Joker movie from the DC Extended Universe. Phillips shared this information on his Instagram feed by posting a picture of Batman with the caption “the joke’s on you Batman.” It is unclear who will be responsible for making another Joker film, but it won't be Phillips. The director stated he has left the DCEU version of the Clown Prince of Crime behind to work on something original.
